Ian joined the BAS group of companies as the General Manager of CCS in 2011 and in October 2013, he took on the role of BAS Group Chief Executive Officer. Ian is an accomplished Engineer with more than a decade of senior management experience working in businesses in Bermuda, Europe and Dubai.
Before joining the group, Ian worked in the aviation industry managing large technical projects in both safety and business critical environments. As a Senior Engineering Manager, Ian has imbedded an efficiency program across a multicultural organization with over 110 employees.
In addition, he developed a strategic asset management plan worth over £25M at Dubai International Airport and the implementation and commissioning of £20M at Dubai World Central. As an Operations Manager at Serco in the UK, Ian managed an outsourced business unit with a turnover of £18M+ consisting of 125 personnel, across 12 contracts. Ian received his bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering in 1996 from Johnson and Wales University.
Andrew joined the BAS Group of Companies in 2007 as the Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the group, Andrew worked in Bermuda’s reinsurance industry.
In addition to his responsibilities at BAS, Andrew is currently the Bermuda Football Association’s Treasurer and serves on the Board of Governors for CedarBridge Academy and the Board of Directors for Youthnet.
Andrew is an accomplished Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda having previously served as that organization’s Treasurer.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting from McGill University.
